Join the Edmonton Humane Society in celebrating Be Kind to Animals Week May 6 – 12, 2018. Join us in making a difference by getting involved in Be Kind to Animals Week.
This presentation is being offered free of charge in celebration of Be Kind to Animals Week. Donations at the door are appreciated, however are not necessary. This one-hour program at the Edmonton Humane Society is for families and includes a presentation about what we do, the animals we work with, the humane treatment of animals, plus interactions with some shelter animals (depending on the availability of suitable animals). This presentation can accommodate up to 35 people (children and adults).
For Teachers
Be Kind to Animals Week Lesson Plans
This program is suited for Teachers with classes between Pre-School and Grade 6 Level. By registering with us you will receive a grade specific program plan which includes a short activity to be completed each day throughout the week. Program plans are available pre-school to grade 6.
For Families
This program is suited for families who are interested in learning more about what happens at the EHS and wants to make a difference in the lives of animals at the shelter! Your one-hour long session will include a Behind-the-Scenes Shelter Tour of our facility along with some time to make enrichments for our shelter animals.
