Hair Massacure to give youth a chance at a cancer-free future and have their most heartfelt wish come true with the Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada and with partial proceeds to Terry Fox Profyle, a national Pediatric cancer research project.
On February 22, 2019 thousands of heads will be shaved, once again, in honour of the journey of sick children losing their hair due to chemotherapy. People will gather at the Ice Palace at West Edmonton Mall to collectively shave their heads and raise money in support of Albertans facing cancer.
The Hair Massacure is founded, supported and organized by The MacDonald Family, in honour of their daughter Kali (a childhood cancer survivor). The event supports outstanding local charities focusing on children with cancer and life- threatening medical conditions.
Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada is the largest and only all-Canadian wish granting charity dedicated to granting wishes to Canadian children between the ages of 3 and 17 who are diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.
Partial proceeds of Hair Massacure will benefit Terry Fox Profyle a national Pediatric cancer research project.
