The Edmonton Heritage Festival is a three day celebration of multiculturalism held annually in Edmonton’s beautiful river valley. In 2018, the Festival will take place August 4th, 5th and 6th, and will feature over 70 pavilions representing over 90 countries and cultures. An estimated 1,300 volunteers from participating cultural organizations will work countless hours sharing their talent, enthusiasm, and culinary skills. Pavilions offer dance, arts and foods from the land of their ancestors.
On site visitor attendance can reach more than est. 350,000.

Each food ticket you buy directly supports Northern Alberta’s cultural not for profit groups. Since inception the Festival has helped raise an estimated $34,000,000 that these groups use within the Cultural Community.

The Edmonton Heritage Festival Association also sponsors the Edmonton Food Bank. Through your donations, since 1986 the Festival has raised $1,000,000 and 1,600,0000 kg of food for the Edmonton Food Bank.

Each year the Heritage Festival loans tents and expertise to a number of local charities, including the Easter Seals, Dragon Boat Festival, Edmonton Folk Fest, Edmonton Triathalon, Edmonton Marathon, and Aboriginal Days.
